Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has taken action to reorganize the management system, which will include a change in the president’s post.

When President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director Tsuneji Togami was admitted to a hospital for medical treatment, Managing Executive Officer and Representative Director Takaaki Kimura on Dec. 4 began serving as acting president on an emergency basis.

The board’s decision to replace Togami and Kimura, made Dec. 22, will take effect March 25, 2010.

Specifically, Togami will resign from his current position as President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director as of March 25, 2010, and be succeeded in the post by the current Senior Executive Officer, Hiroyuki Yanagi.
